Wondering where to learn to surf in Bali? Don't look any further, you've come to the right place!
Canggu is without doubt the best surfing spot on Bali for beginner and intermediate surfing lessons. Located north of Seminyak, Canggu is considered by many to be one of the few places where surf tourism has blended perfectly with local life. Its orientation and reef provides the town with ideal wave qualitiesThere is no crowd in Kuta (if you wake up early of course). A multitude of Warung and local restaurants will allow you to eat on the go with the locals between two sessions. The atmosphere is peaceful and it's not difficult to get lost in the surrounding countryside to get a taste of authenticity quickly! Various small towns are spread out along the coast, so there are always shops nearby. It is normal to ask locals in bars and restaurants to rent equipment or motorbikes, ideal for blending into the local life.
The surf camp is located on Canggu in the north of Kuta - Seminyak away from the tourist hustle and bustle.
There are two types of accommodation: the pool villa and the surf house.
Several spots nearby and beaches for all: the spot of Batu Bolong perfect for learning to surf.
Further north, Echo Beach, for intermediates with a nice tube at high tide.
To work on your manoeuvres, River Mouth, straight from the reef, not too deep and long.
And many more to discover on site during your surfari.
Indonesia has a tropical climate, just below the equator, two seasons are distinguished:

Hello Alexandra, I'm back from Indonesia (unfortunately) and I wanted to send you this email to say a big THANK YOU! The trip was fantastic both in terms of organisation and quality of services (surfing, accommodation and other services). In short, my holidays in Indonesia were extra. You managed my surftrip very well and I thank you for that. Thank you for everything and for my next holidays in South America, I will go through 360° surfing again without any hesitation !
The results of our stay are quite mixed! To begin with we wanted to thank you for your reactivity following our emails and your availability. As far as the accommodation is concerned, we are in a room identical to the photo so far no problem, however the towels provided are dirty, the shower mat is full of sand. The wifi works only once in 5 times and when it works you should not ask for too much (very low speed). Finally it is difficult to communicate with the night staff of the hotel as they do not speak English. As far as surfing is concerned, the equipment available is of good quality and the supervision is good and competent.
Bali is really great, people are really nice, spots are really cool, Canggu is great, nothing to say about it ! Sumba super cool too, good waves during the two stays, great meetings and great landscapes !
A great welcome, great people, very kind and helpful. They always had a smile on their face. The teachers were very professional with a typical Balinese relaxed attitude.
I stayed in a single room in a guest house and the breakfast, although included in the price, was not ready before the surfing departure at 7am; whereas those who were in a shared room (who were staying elsewhere in the surf camp) had a solid breakfast. It's nice to have something to eat when you go surfing in the morning, so I had to buy some stuff but I couldn't make a hot breakfast.
All the team on site is at the top, I really enjoyed myself, it was my first surf trip, despite some small apprehensions everything went very well! What more could you ask for than to surf in front of jungle lined fallaises or to surf in the turquoise water of Serangan Island in front of Mount Agung! Being in a swimming costume, sharing some sessions with turtles and flying fishes... surfing knowing that you'll just enjoy your session because you know that the atmosphere will be great with the locals who are great.... (there's always one of them singing or laughing, it's a change from the spots in France :) ) It's been three weeks since I came back and I still can't get it off my chest... So thank you very much for helping me with this first surf trip, you are great and see you soon for the next one!
Very nice meetings, very attentive teachers, and especially very technical, all in a relaxed and fun atmosphere.
A very big thank you to the 360 surf agency team for this surftrip in Bali! The landscapes, the welcome of the locals, the accommodation at Arnaud's place, everything was magical! A real treat. A great organisation for 2 girls like us who were going alone! See you soon!
The whole hostel team is very attentive to our requests. They are extremely friendly and have a smile on their faces. Thank you for making us discover these different spots, despite the small surf conditions. The climate is great, and the change of scenery is complete, a very good and pleasant surprise that we recommend to everyone. A big thank you to the 360 degres surf team for their listening and flexibility in terms of dates and our various requests. A great surf trip for the whole group!
The surfing adventure by essence, nestled in the hollow of a paradise island, preserved from mass tourism and delivering incredible waves.
