We invite you to come aboard the charter ship Gypsy Laut for an incredible surf cruise in Mentawai. With 22 years' experience in Indonesian waters, our ship has recently undergone a complete renovation, offering absolute comfort. During your stay, you will have the opportunity to surfing on world-class wavesguided by our experienced skipper and surf guide, Chris Love. With their expertise, we are committed to providing you with unforgettable surf sessions day after day.
When you're not surfing, relax in the comfort of our air-conditioned cabins and enjoy the ship's top-of-the-range facilities. Our cabins, equipped with double bunk beds, offer a comfortable place to rest after a busy day. The spacious bathroom has hot and cold water for your comfort. On deck, you'll find lounge seating with storage for your personal items. surf equipmentas well as a new relaxation area with a breathtaking view of the marine surroundings. For your entertainment, each cabin is equipped with a television and recharging facilities are available. Two dinghies are available for explore the surf spotsfishing or discover of the surrounding islands. You'll also find fishing, snorkelling and safety equipment on board to ensure your comfort and safety at all times.

There are two distinct seasons in Mentawaii:
May to SeptemberDry season - sunshine and little rain
October to AprilWet season - daily showers with occasional clear spells
The best months for surfing are from June to October, with temperatures around 30°C.

On board, you'll find a spacious living area equipped with all the comforts of home:

Our ship has 4 comfortable bunk beds, including a double bunk bed, all equipped with multiple power sockets for charging your electronic devices. By special request, the ship can accommodate up to 9 surfersYou'll have a great night's sleep after your intensive surf sessions.
We have two annexes to help you get to the waves:
- A 5.5 m Stacer aluminium boat powered by a 90 HP Yamaha engine
- A smaller Polycraft with a 15 hp engine.
These appendices are always ready to take you on a quick tour of the spotlights onf, to organise shore excursions or go on a fishing session.
The Gypsy Laut complies with Indonesian safety standards, equipped with everything you need to ensure your safety at sea, including a lifeboat, lifejackets, flares and a full medical kit.
