Surf Morocco
Morocco
Surfing country par excellence, the weather conditions are perfect in winter. The miles of coastline offer waves for beginners in the Tamraght / Taghazout area. There are also some great point break waves for the more experienced higher up between mystery and boilers.

The dirham
This currency is not convertible, i.e. you are supposed to leave Morocco without a dirham in your pocket (you can change at the airport if you have carefully kept the exchange ticket or the withdrawal card ticket). Be careful, in the souk, sometimes small sums are given in riels (1 dirham = 20 riels; in other words, 1 riel = 5 Moroccan centimes).
