Where do we sleep? Accommodation
The surf camp is located in the Rinconada district: a very quiet area with small mini-markets, shops, restaurants and taxis. 10 minutes walk from Playa Carrizalillo.
Very clean and well maintained hotel, good comfort. Common swimming pool and all the rooms are equipped with kitchen (gas cooker + sink + dishes + utensils + mini fridge), TV, wifi, balcony, air conditioning and/or fan. Rooms from 2/4 people to 7 people maximum.
All rooms have the same configuration, only the surface area varies according to the number of beds. No elevator.
The packages include 7 breakfasts + 8 lunches + 7 dinners in a restaurant close to the hostel: 5 minutes walk.
Surf The waves
We can rank the surf spots on a scale of 1 to 5... 5 being the most difficult.
- Playa Zicatela : level 5, beach par excellence of the pro surfers and it is there that the great world events and big waves take place.
- La Punta: December to June: level 2-3, ideal for advanced or intermediate beginners. From June to November: level 4, ideal for advanced. As La Punta is located at the end of the beach of Zicatela and in a small corner, it benefits from the power of the ocean but with less force thanks to its mini bay at the end of the beach and rocks that block the sea currents.
- Playa Carrizalillo : from December to June : level 1 : ideal for real beginners. From June to November: the swell swells a bit, better suited for an intermediate surfing trip.

Best time to visit The perfect months
Puerto Escondido enjoys a tropical climate all year round with an average of 22 to 30 °C, 16 °C minimum in November-December and maximum 45 °C in April.
