The children surfed every day at different spots, either with the hotel's surf club team (which was really nice, by the way) or by renting surfboards on site on our own. We discovered the site of Imsouane, and its long straight line. Although far away, it's well worth the diversions. The water, at 18°C, is very pleasant even with a light wetsuit. The hotel is extraordinary and my daughter, who doesn't surf, had a great time soaking up the sun in a very European environment, but with all the comforts of home for a young teenager. The village of Taghazout, which is very touristy, remains authentic and we spent many evenings in its restaurants watching the sunset and the surfers. We had no problems with the car, which was very comfortable, but our tyres were rather deflated (one tyre was at 0.7 bar) and quite damaged. I was a bit worried about getting a puncture on the desert roads, even though we had a spare wheel. We reported this to the hire company, who were also very nice. A three-hour drive away, Morocco is a complete change of scenery and we're delighted to have been able to introduce our children to a different culture. See you soon!
Top hotel! The restaurant menus are varied and there are typical restaurants all around! The staff and surf instructors are super friendly (bug up for Walid at reception, Mohamed and the others at the surf). It wasn't really the right time for surfing... but we'll definitely be going back at the right time!
