Our refuge is perfectly situated just a few steps from the beach and a short walk from the town of Popoyo, ideal for surfing all year round without being lost on the other side of the world. This city is much more than a surf destination It's a place of balance and rejuvenation. Our surf & yoga combines the excitement of the ocean with the serenity of traditional Hindu teachings and the joy of fresh, local cuisine. Whether you're here to surf, find inner peace or indulge in nourishing meals, our retreat is your home away from home. perfect surf trip to reconnect with yourself and nature.
Our surf programmes are comprehensive in that they include not only plenty of time in the water, but also video analysis, commentary and surf theory lessons. Each surf session is progressive and goal-oriented for each participant. From mastering the basics of paddling and taking off to catching your first wave, our lessons are designed to help you progress quickly and safely in the water. We take care not to mix levels to maintain a balance.
Our aspiration was to create a space where people from different parts of the world could come together and share their common interests. That's why we've created a villa where the ambience and experiences we've constantly sought on our own travels can be found. It will be perfect for connecting with others surfers or relax in our swimming pool or your bright room.

Where do we sleep? Accommodation
At 360 Surf TravelWe design intimate surfing experiences around the world for solo travellers, couples and small groups. Thanks to our personalised approach, this surf trip to Popoyo in Nicaragua will allow you to join a select group of surfers to explore the best waves of the country, away from the crowded queues.
Our rooms in a surf villa in Popoyo
Make yourself comfortable in our bright rooms. Each of our rooms has a ceiling fan, air conditioning, private bathroom with hot shower and Wi-Fi connection.
Double Queen Room
Experience the comfort of our superior double rooms. These rooms offer a combination of a queen-size bed or two twin beds, vaulted ceilings, a private terrace and a view of the pool. You can relax on your own outdoor terrace, enjoy the pool view or simply unwind after a nice hot shower.
Triple room
Situated just north of the pool, this room offers a combination of three twin beds or one single and one king-size bed, bedside tables, a wardrobe and storage space, a private bathroom and a private garden ideal for contemplating nature and the sound of the ocean just a few metres away.
Quadruple room
In our spacious family and guest room, you'll sleep in one of four comfortable twin beds and find the deep blue pool in front of your room. Your room and the indoor bathroom have a lovely private terrace.
Surf The waves
Our surfing courses in Nicaragua
In our surf school, 5 levels are available. We teach you according to the ISA codes. If you're not sure of your level, don't worry! Our instructors will assess your level on arrival and assign you to the right group.
Total beginner: "You've never tried surfing, but you know how to swim". - 1.1
Our aim is to teach you the basics of surfing, which includes a dry session on the beach focusing on :
- Introduction to surfing and equipment
- Correct board position / paddling technique
- How do you protect yourself, your board and others in the water?
- Passing the foam / The correct take-off / Correct position
Beginner + : "You've already surfed a few times". - 1.2
At this stage, we are focusing on :
- Work on your position for better balance and improve your pop-up and paddle technique.
- Teach you the basic steps of a wave and the shape of a wave on the beach in question.
- Talking about positioning in the line-up to catch waves
- Learn to slow down or speed up depending on the section of the wave
Beginner Advanced: "You understand the mechanics of the waves and the board, but you're going straight ahead". - 1.3
We focus on :
- Review the basics of levels 1 & 2
- Work on reading the waves and positioning yourself in the line-up
- Improving take-off and stance
- Learn the basics of behaviour once you're on the wave
Intermediate: "You understand the ocean and manage your board". - 2.1
The aim is to :
- Generate speed on the wave / Duck dive
- Improve your ability to read waves
- Improving stance for greater mobility
- Fundamentals of bottom turn and top turn
Advanced: "You have a good level, but it's still a long way from Slater's". - 2.2
We focus on:
- Surf and accelerate on different types of waves
- Learning cutback
- Technical analysis of your top turn and bottom turn
- Make small floats to get through the sections
- Improving your duck
Wetsuits and surfboards are available. If you'd like to bring your own equipment, that's possible.

Here, you'll immerse yourself in a unique yoga experience. Every day, our skilled and passionate instructors guide you through thoughtful sessions, combining yoga postures, mindful breathing and meditation. Whether you're starting your yoga journey or deepening an existing practice, our inclusive environment ensures that every yogi feels supported and challenged.
