Nestled in a beautiful bay on the west coast of the Stadtlandet peninsula, our surf camp welcomes you to the heart of majestic mountains and white sandy beaches. This remote location has inspired us to create a close-knit surf community, where you'll quickly feel at home. Let yourself be enchanted by nature and improve your surfing in a spectacular Scandinavian landscape.
Our surf camp à Hoddevik offers you total immersion in unspoilt wilderness, just a fifteen-minute walk from the beach. Choose from our dormitories or our rooms double in one of our two houses and enjoy a rustic design, comfortable beds and a friendly atmosphere. La villa Innsiktour largest home, is the foundation of our surf school. You'll find outdoor facilities, easy access to the beach and an atmosphere of sharing. You will also have access to a fully equipped kitchen, barbecue and dining areas to prepare your own meals using local produce.
À Hoddevikyou will discover another facet of the surf. The Nordic nature fresh air and crystal-clear water to accompany you on your journey. learning from surf on our spot from surf suitable for beginners, surrounded by mountains. We teach levels 1 and 2 in groups of no more than six students per instructor (6:1), with thick wetsuits to keep you warm. If you have thirst for adventureit's a surfing opportunity not to be missed!
Apart from surf sessionsTake in the scenery on a hike with friends, enjoy a bonfire on the beach, see the stars like never before and skate along Hoddevik's iconic winding road at sunset. Where do we sleep? Accommodation
DORTOIR
Whether you choose Villa Utsikten or Villa Innsikt, our dormitories sleep 3 to 5 people, all with comfortable beds.
DOUBLE ROOM
A double room is the best choice for those who want more privacy. Villa Innsikt has 5 double rooms with shared bathroom and Villa Utsikten has one double room, also with shared bathroom.

Surf The waves
SURFING: LEVEL 1 - BEGINNER
From waves for beginners, crystal-clear water and magnificent natural surroundings make Hoddevik a unique surfing destination. Le surf lessons level 1 is for you if you've never surfed before and want to learn the basics in a safe and fun way. It's also a perfect refresher course for those who've already surfed a few hours and want to get back on the board.
- These courses take place on the the magnificent white sandy beach of Hoddevikjust a few steps from the camp.
- Ratio: Maximum 6 students per instructor
SURFING: LEVEL 2 - INTERMEDIATE
Take it to the next level with our course de intermediate surf. This programme is designed for those who can already get up on the board and want to catch some real waves. Train in a spectacular setting, surrounded by Scandinavian mountains and breathtaking scenery.
- Level 2 is not available during the summer season from 19 June to 28 August.
- Ratio: Maximum of 6 students per instructor.
We also offer tailor-made surf lessons according to your needs and wishes. In accordance with the Norwegian government's health guidelines, we regularly update our courses to ensure your safety. A wide range of activities such as yoga, hiking, skateboarding, etc. are also available!
SURFBOARD HIRE
We also offer theocation of surfing equipment for those who prefer surf alone. Choose from a wide selection of combinationsof slippers and gloves as well as nearly 60 surfboards ranging from 7'6 feet to 8'6 feet.

- Minimum age: 10 years old and able to swim for regular courses.
- Children's courses : Available for children aged 5 to 9 during the summer.

For level 2, the waves can be a little too flat at Hoddevik during the summer. During the winter months, you'll have the chance to experience the thrill of cold-water surfing.
