The surf camp is just a few steps from thePortuguese Ocean. Overlooking the Foz do Lizandro beachIt is just a 30-minute walk from the old town of Dordogne.Ericeira. Installed in a traditional Portuguese villa Our 2-storey accommodation is designed to meet all your needs before and after surfing. In addition to shared and private rooms in the main building of the surfcamp, we also offer flats for rent right next door. For travellers arriving as a group, couple or family, these accommodations are ideal. It allows you to mixadventurous surf camp atmosphere with even more comfort, space and privacy. Relax on our spacious roof terrace overlooking the Lizandro river valley. You can also take advantage of our second terrace downstairs to chill out together. The surfcamp has spacious, light-filled rooms to make you feel at your best!
During the week, dinner is served by our camp manager, Mikey. His menus delight meat lovers and vegetarians alike. We also guarantee that no one goes to bed hungry at our surf camp in Portugal. Because we know from experience surf makes you hungry!
Surfing is only a few steps away from the accommodation. Perfect for those who don't like wasting time on the road. Our qualified surf instructors of the surfcamp will teach you, with joy and enthusiasm, how to surfing practice. Their aim is to enable you to make rapid progress while listening to your needs and feelings. Where do we sleep? Accommodation
DOUBLE ROOM
The room itself is a private room with a double bed. It's a room defined by one word: comfortable. Depending on the flat, the rooms can be differentiated by: sea view, balcony, king-size bed...
TWIN ROOM
Our shared twin room is a 2-bed dormitory. There are either two single beds or two bunk beds. This room is perfect for solo travellers or a group of 2 friends travelling together and wanting a little more privacy than in an ordinary dormitory. The rooms are bright with plenty of storage space.
DORTOIR
The dormitory is a shared room with 4 or 8 beds. It is very bright and spacious, allowing each traveller sufficient privacy despite the dormitory style. This room has a balcony with a sea view. Here you can enjoy the sunrise directly from your bed. You can choose between three bunk beds and two single beds.
We provide all bedding and hairdryers.
COMMON AREAS
In the flats you will find a fully equipped kitchen, a living room, a terrace with sea view and barbecue and a fully renovated bathroom. These common areas are shared with another room in the same flat, unless reserved for exclusive use.
On our roof terrace in the surfcamp area, you can practise yoga and enjoy the magnificent sunsets.

We offer surfing lessons for the beginners and advanced surfersas well as surf coaching for the surfers of all levels.
SURF COURSES
Surf lessons are given by 6 days a weekSunday is reserved for free surfing, relaxing and exploring the region. Our schedule surfing lessons always depends on conditions in the water. That's why our surf school always chooses course timetables according to best tides, winds and conditions, every day of the year.
There are 2 levels of course.
- Beginner surf lessons. Here are some of the basic steps you'll follow during your first lessons:- Introduction to safety and beach awareness
- Learning and practising rowing
- Understanding and recognising surf equipment
- Practise getting out of bed
- Riding a wave to the beach
- Improving posture
- Raising awareness of surfing
- Understanding how to control the board - Intermediate surf lessons. Our instructors will give you useful tips and correct any errors in posture:
- Rowing techniques
- Wave selection and timing
- Surfing uninterrupted waves
- Positioning in line
- Use the currents to paddle
SURF COACHING
For more experienced surfers, a surf coaching in small groups is ideal. Our coach (Chef João) is a local and knows all the local places. Every day he'll take you to the most beautiful beaches depending on the conditions. João goes in the water with you or films you from the beach for a video analysis at a later date.
All our instructors are fully qualified, experienced, competent and hold high-level European licences. They'll make sure you're always in the right place at the right time.
EXTRA
For those not taking lessons, we also offer surfboard and wetsuit hire. Extras include yoga classes, surfboard insurance (highly recommended) and transfers to and from Lisbon airport.
