Surfing in Costa Rica

Costa Rica enjoys a tropical climate, close to the equator, two seasons stand out. The dry season from December to May and the rainy season from April to December. The average temperature on the Pacific coast is 32 °c while it is de17 °c in the mountains.
No visa required for surf stays of less than 90 days (for EU nationals). You will still need to present a valid passport at least six months after your surf trip returns to Costa Rica.

The whole country is equipped with 110v (think of the adapter).
The national currency is the colon but the US dollar is accepted almost everywhere. Prefer smaller cuts that are easier to use.
Attention credit cards are not always accepted and there are still few distributors.
No particular vigilance to have in Costa Rica, however a antimalarial treatment can be a good choice if you plan to stay in the primary jungle or on the Caribbean coast.
