The Landes coast is the best option and Hossegor is the first town we think of for a surfing holiday.It is one of the best surf destinations in France.
So there are people, atmosphere and nice waves ! It's the perfect place for an all-inclusive surfing holiday, to learn to surf or to go with friends to discover the Landes life...
To get there, the nearest train station is Dax (or Biarritz), Biarritz airport (45 mn drive in summer) or Bordeaux airport which is more than two hours away.
On the spot, everyone gets around by bike or skateboard... The surfing atmosphere is omnipresent.

Where do we sleep? Accommodation
It is a brand new youth hostel that welcomes you. New concept with shared rooms but also private rooms, living spaces such as a common kitchen for the surf camp residents.
Our surf accommodation package also offers the organisation of big DJ parties or big events.
It's a great place to go out, to learn to surf or to have a great time on the Landes coast.

Surf The waves
To learn to surf, we have sandy beaches that are perfectly adapted at low tide for discovery and first glides in the surf: ideal for sharing the passion of surfing with the family.
To progress and surpass oneself, we have big surfing spots known all over the world like la Gravière, la Nord, les Estagnots which will know how to overcome the most hardened surfers ! (John John Florence explained when he came that the wave of the Graviere is like Pipeline, without the reef...).
Concerning surfing lessons, our partner school is located on the other side of the shore, on the mythical spot of Santocha.
She provides wetsuits and surfboards adapted to your level.
The duration of the surf lessons is 1h30.
The surf school also offers a weekly package with 5 sessions of 1h30 as well as surfaris for groups.

Best time to visit The perfect months
The miles of beaches along the French Atlantic coast are in a pleasant location.
The waves are there all year round and many surfing competitions take place there. The coast has an oceanic type of climate, it is nice without being too hot.

Published on 20/09/2017 at 08:23I enjoyed my stay but it's a pity that the groups are so big, I was expecting to be in a surf camp on a smaller scale, something more personal. I did enjoy my stay though. In summary, I had a great time meeting new people, getting a change of scenery and making progress in surfing. Thank you for helping me with all the procedures!
