This is one of the top surfing destinations in Europe. The spots to learn to surf are centred around Corralejo, a very nice centre well supplied with shops and other non surfing activities.
The surf-camp is "self-catering", which means that you will be on your own, there will be no imposed programme or schedule.
For your meals you will have at your disposal 2 large kitchens and a large barbecue area in the garden.
Our camp manager also regularly organises barbecues in the garden with the guests.
The surf camp is around 15 minutes' walk from the town centre, where you'll find supermarkets, shops, restaurants and bars, as well as numerous cafés.
If you need a transfer, we can arrange it, just ask us!
The particularity of the surfcamp is to be multidisciplinary, you will be able to learn kite surfing and even foiling, a new and very fun medium!
We also organise yoga classes
The Surf Lodge is equipped with 8 bedrooms, two modern kitchens, a laundry room and a dedicated sports area.
It is an accommodation dedicated to riders of all horizons, and you will be able to share your evenings between surfers, kite surfers, wingfoilers...
The rooms are divided by category:
Suites with private bathrooms,
The double rooms with shared bathrooms,
And shared rooms with bunk beds.
The communal areas are well thought out, with a lovely deck to relax on between surf lessons.
Our surfing lessons last about 4 hours per day (including transfer to the beach, warm-up and time in the water)
All materials are included during the course.
We meet at our surf school in the morning or early afternoon (depending on tides and weather conditions), then our instructor takes the group to the beaches best suited to their level. We keep the groups as small as possible (maximum 6-8 students per instructor).
Depending on your level the instructor will take you to easy beachbreaks where you first go into the foam and practice standing up and catch your first waves.
Then you can try more challenging waves and some reef waves on the North Shore.

It is possible to surf all year round in Fuerteventura. However, as in the whole of the North Atlantic, the swells are more consistent in winter. We therefore advise experienced surfers to choose a surf trip between November and March, and for apprentice surfers you can take full advantage of the surf school and its courses between April and October, for a safe practice.
Over the years the surfcamp has built up a strong reputation in terms of the quality of services, facilities, teachers and the special attention given to each student in terms of learning and safety.
