Where do we sleep? Accommodation

The surf camp is a soothing place where art, poetry, yoga and surfing are expressed. It is a place where the objectives are sharing and a sustainable approach to the environment. There are hammocks, slacklines, a library, relaxation areas and a swimming pool.
We offer 3 types of accommodation:

  • Safari tent : shared or private, open to the nature, with the necessary comfort to rest after good surfing sessions in Hikkaduwa or Welligama. Showers, toilets and kitchen are in common area.
  • Surf camp in bungalow : this time the standing is more up-market. The bungalows are made of "hard" materials and have private shower and toilet... This formula is more intimate and ideal for families or couples... But also a single person wanting a little more privacy during his stay.
  • "Jungle hunt": it is a hut that will welcome you here, with all the comfort of a hard house while remaining melted in the dense landscape of the srilankan jungle. All the comfort, the bathroom and the toilets are private to each hut. Perfect for a change of scenery.

Surfing side The waves

The surf camp is located in Ahangama, in the south west of Sri Lanka, the most famous spots of this region are among others Unawatuna (right quite nasty at low tide), Welligama real landmark of longboarders for its long waves is accessible all levels, Marissa which rolls well (launch a little complicated) ...
In front of the surf camp the spot Sticks : right left all level, can tube if the conditions are met.
Kabalana, just a few minutes walk away, is undoubtedly the best spot for learning to surf thanks to the easy waves from October to May.
Other places like The rock or Devils islands will be discovered during your surf trip...
