When to surf in Sri Lanka:
The best time to go surfing in the South-West of Sri Lanka is from November to March, during dry season. You could also experience snorkeling in Mirissa Bay or just read a book under a coconut tree...
The surf camp is located in Mirissa, at the South-West of Sri Lanka, in the Indian Ocean.
Hidden in a green tropical garden, this charming tiny house will seduce you.
The 9 rooms have been named after few surfing moves and yoga postures, and include hot water and air conditioning.
The house includes double, triple or family rooms to fit your need.
The surf camp also hosts a coffee restaurant, a surf shop, a book library, chill out lounge, hammocks, snorkeling equipment, slack lining or surf movies.
There are 15 surf spots around the guest house.
The team check the waves every morning to offer you surf lessons with best conditions, according to your surf level.
Beginners will start with the Weligama beachbreak, where the waves are perfect to take the first rides.
Then Arugam Bay, Unakuruwa, Pehembiya, fishermans village of Kadolana or Shaggy's Secret reefbreak.
In addition to the lessons in the sea, the students will receive a theoretical teaching to well understand the ocean and waves operation.
You will even refine your surf technique thanks to video analysis.
Other activities are available like: yoga, paddle yoga, snorkeling or massages to relax after a surf session.

The climate is tropical, warm and wet, with two monsoons in April-May and October-November.
Passport plus ETA to take online, it is compulsory.
E.T.A. tourist : $35 (approx. 32€). Valid 30 days and for a double entry.
All these formalities are free for children under 12 years old.
Without being the official language, English is used as a working language by the government.
The official languages are the Sinhalese and the Tamil.
