It's always a question we ask ourselves when we go on a trip... What should I take with me? Will my suitcase be heavy? Do I take my boards or not? Do I have my passport ? Today, 360° Surf has made you its list of must-haves for a surftrip.
It's up to each of us to figure out what we're going to need once we get on the road.
The Must-See's
- Check the validity of your passport: make sure it does not expire during your trip, scan a copy and store it on your email + make a photocopy that you keep in a different place from your passport
- Travel guide to the destination in question (Guide du Routard)
- Print your ticket and keep it close by (in case of loss, go to the airport counter to print a new one)
- Necessary information regarding transportation and hotel/surf camp reservation
- Cash (tip: never store all your cash in one place, spread it around...)
- A credit card (check that your bank allows payments and withdrawals at foreign counters)
- Holiday vouchers
- Remember to buy small bottles for liquids if you travel with only a backpack (customs clearance on departure and arrival)
- A international driving licence
- Map of the country/island
- Mini dictionary of the local language or a French/English dictionary
- An anti-mosquito ! (opt for spirals or citronella, less harmful for the environment)
- A logbook or travel journal + pens
- A camera (digital or disposable) to send us your best trip photos!
- A good book
Travel/Airline
- Earplugs
- A headrest for transport

- Card game to pass the time... especially on long flights
Surf
- His surfing gear ! board, daggerboards, leash (think of having a strong travel bag, to minimize the farts linked to the plane...)
- An ultra protective sun cream SeventyOne Percent
- Beach accessories (cap/hat, towel, sarong, sunglasses (quality sunglasses with anti-UV lenses. Avoid the 3 € sunglasses...)
- Lightweight booties for those who surf on reef or rocks and don't want to open their feet...
- A swimsuit that fits well! (for those who go surfing in the tropics)
- From the wax GreenFix special hot water... or tempered water depending on the destination

- A transportable mobile phone charger
- Headphones
- An adapter! (be sure to ask about the socket in question)
- A banana (to carry money, passport, important papers...)

- Fairly thin towels (to avoid taking up too much space)

- A raincoat (in case of showers, essential!)

- Hiking shoes (cheap and good quality at Decathlon: count 50 €)

- Flip-flops! (preferably of good quality if you don't want to end up with a hole between your toes)

Toilet bag
- Transfer your products into small, easily transportable bottles (avoid bringing back your shampoo or shower gel in its entirety...). The best thing is to buy your products on the spot, depending on your destination (if you are going to an island, it is better to plan ahead...)
